We think children and young people are awesome! Our desire is to reach, care for and disciple children and young people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We create fun and memorable experiences and partner with parents and carers to support spiritual growth and thrive in life.
After the first shared part of the Sunday morning service our primary school children are brought round to Sunday School in the Minor Hall and our secondary school young people head to Bible Class in the Youth Lounge. Babies and toddlers have creche available throughout the service.
During the week we have Busy Bees on Wednesday for pre-school children, and Rainbows, Brownies and Guides through the week. See Our Week page for more full details.
Creche Pre-school
Creche is available for our youngest members throughout the Sunday morning service. This is well supervised play with games, books, puzzles and toys to keep the little ones busy. Creche is attached to the main Church sanctuary via the choir room for easy access.
Sunday School
Sunday School is for our Primary School age children. Offering a fun programme of teaching, the children enjoy working towards their own special Christmas Service each year. Sunday School takes place in the Minor Hall and is easily accessed via the covered walkway.
Bible Class
Bible Class allows our secondary school age young people to delve deeper into the Bible in a creative way and in a less formal environment. The young people leave along with the Sunday School, but come back in to the main Sanctuary on Communion Sundays to rejoin the service and share in communion.
IMPACT
IMPACT is a youth group that serves the whole circuit. We come together to have fun, laugh, and to put Christian living into practice. We aim to delve deeper into God’s word and learn how to lead a Christian life, growing in faith together. We are passionate about bringing young people together to learn and grow in the Lord. IMYC exists to love and serve children and young people and those who lead them, desiring to help them take their place in God’s Mission through the local, connexional and world Church.
We are passionate about seeing a generation rising up, taking ownership of their faith and their God-given potential to impact the world for Jesus in their everyday, in and through the intergenerational family called the Church.
It involves representing and advocating for young adults, youth and children's issues within the whole life of the Church and beyond. It means training and supporting ministers, youth and children’s workers and volunteer leaders, and supporting families as they pass on faith to the next generation. It involves giving children, young people and young adults the opportunity to encounter God, some for the first time, and develop their gifts and skills by participating in youth and children’s events and programmes throughout Ireland.
